Unity in duality is the theme of this ring. As the wedding of two persons unites them in matrimony, two become one. In this ring, 18K rose gold is wedded, or married, to a band of platinum that lies underneath. Rose gold has been fused on top of the platinum base so the two metals, though remaining separate, have become one. The surface appears as two rings, or two halves, but is really one. Duality is again embodied by the colors of two metals: the cool platinum against the warm rose gold.
